I was playing spiderman the other day (the one based on the second movie) for Play Station 2 and I was having fun. Unfortunately, I then ran into a situation where I needed to use the web powers to swing from building to building, and I don't know how to do that. Basically, how do I shot web?|||i dunno lol|||jump in the air and hold down R2 then follow the directions mate, if you have the problem again u might need to start the game off fresh and read what it tells you.|||Ummm. Its pretty easy. Go to options and controls. Then configure your controls and then change the web control to any key you like. the machine has this pulse that will knock you back, thus you must time jumping from one area to the other. Also the machine will have bolts coming out just to randomly strike at you.

Theres also some websites where you can trade games for other games.|||they do not take xbox i say about 50-70 dollars and you have to show them the games i would have a yard sale you would probably get a better deal and you could sell a game for 30$ at a yard sale so take the yard sale you would make 160 or more if you sold all your games for 30$|||It all depends on how old the games are, and the condition of the console.

It may run ok, I wouldn't expect anything fantastic out of it. You don't have a lot of Ram, you should have at least 1 gig for gaming purposes.





Personally the game isn't that great anyway, the PC version is worse than the XBOX 360 or PS3 versions, which aren't that great to begin with.





Oh yeah, and the monitor doesn't make a difference. Its all the about the processor, memory, and graphics processing.

Alot of games are multi-platform but many games are ports meaning they are made for one system and not the other, which means for the PS3 long loading times. You also need a lot of space for your PS3 which means getting a PS3 slim 120GB or 250GB or maybe 320GB because each games needs a install. It depends on you if you like Shooters then keep the 360 if you like alot of features and graphics the buy a PS3. But yeah the PS3 has a lot of good games coming out so yeah I would recommend the PS3 but after you get you will miss Xbox Live a little. Have the kids walk around on a circle and have numbers taped to the ground, turn music on and when its off kids have to stop, pull out a number from a hat or such and whoever is on that number wins. I looked it up online and they are selling the exact ds for 175 dollars and I read I could have gotten 200 dollars easily if I sold it on Craigslist. I also had Wario Ware Touch which I bought for about 20 dollars used and i traded it in and they gave me four dollars for it credit or one dollar cash then they sold it for 25 dollars used. They gave me about three dollars for any old ds game and up to seven for a rare one. They also gave me a quarter for a light to a game boy advance which worked perfectly. Rip Off. Just sell your things on Craigslist|||Yo if you do this at gamestop you would probally get a dumb $10-$40. If you sell this for a bundle on a place used at your city/state you could probally get all that for atleast $100 or more. What happens when you beat Spiderman: web of shadows?

Are you aloud to keep roaming the city fighting crime and stuff like in spiderman 2 the game? Or does it just end? What happens?|||After you beat the game, the credits roll and it just goes back to the main menu, I was hoping to roam around after you clock it but oh well..., and there are 4 different endings so it's worth playing it again and again. |||Well that sucks, but the gameplay was amazing. A little disappointed now though; I had everything unlocked. Lol.

Could we be seeing a revolution in movies based on games?

This is similar to an article Game Informer wrote last month. I'm sure you've seen the Prince of Persia trailer (if you haven't go watch it!). If Prince of Persia is successful, do you think that movies based on games can actually become decent blockbusters (like Spiderman, Batman, etc.). Also, what games would you like to see made into movies? Personally, I'm dying for movies based on Uncharted and Infamous.|||That's a tough question. Usually when a game makes the jump to the big screen, it suffers horribly at the hands of the director's whim. Look at Resident Evil, Super Mario Brothers and Double Dragon for example. On the other hand, movies done in CGI usually come out brilliant and extremely true to their game's vision, but also suffer as being little more than fanservice to the die-hards. Final Fantasy VII Advent Children is a prime example of this. I loved it to smithereens but anyone who has never played the game wouldn't get it at ALL.





But anyway, since we're wishing, here are some movies I've wanted to see made for a while...





Metroid (The Prime Trilogy)


The Legend of Zelda (Either OoT or TP - these could be EPIC if done right, a la Lord of the Rings)


Metal Gear Solid (I hear they are actually in the process of getting that one going :D)


Gears of War


Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (They wouldn't need to do much, the cutscenes in that game rival the quality of Advent Children and they already run longer combined than a feature length movie)

Either way, I will list some ideas of what it could be. My first question would be if you have integrated graphics instead of an independent graphics card. Type "dxdiag" into your search bar and look for the name of your graphics card. If the links that come up indicate that it is is an integrated graphics card, then that is probably your problem. This is because an integrated graphics card is much weaker than almost any modern independent graphics card. Not having a strong enough graphics card is usually the main culprit in laggy gameplay. It could also be your processor. Same thing, after you type in "dxdiag", look for the strength of your processor. If it is weaker, or around the minimum requirements of the specs on the spiderman game case( considering you still have the case) then that could also explain the lag. You could also try lowering the graphical quality of the game through the options menu. If the lag decreases the weaker you tune the graphics, then your computer just not up to playing the game on higher quality. Like you said, it could be the ram, but a gig of ram should be plenty for a game like spiderman 3. Hope that helps.|||in terms of RAM, it just means how much the game will take in order to play, now if you got two things running at the same time, and lets say that Spiderman 3 takes 1 gb of RAM to paly then you will experience slow movemwnts or even a little message saying that your low on virtual memory

I also have many old PS2 games im hoping to sell for atleast $2-$5 each.|||Sorry, man. They might probably give you an average of 5 or 6$ for most of your games. The Call of Duty 2 might be your best bet with about 8$ and SpiderMan 1 isn't worth crap to them. You might get 2$ for it. Gamestop is a very cheap place that will buy your used games for 5$ and sell it for 50$. You're better off with a yard sale. Plenty of people have PS2's and will be willing to pay 10$. If you sell a game to Gamestop, they don't give you cash.





Instead, they give you STORE CREDIT. That's how cheap they are. They won't give you cash, just money to blow on some other 60$ game in the store. Again, yard sale is your best bet. I sold DJ Hero and at least 20 PS2 games to them along with some PSP UMD's and a couple of Nintendo DS cartridges. In return I got just 80$ worth of store credit. I wish Gamestop hadn't bought out EB Games. EB Games was always fair and friendly to their costumers.|||I highly doubt they wall take those games for at least $10. Whenever I sell them my xbox 360 games I only get around $8, 14 if I'm lucky. But try selling to a friend maybe, they would get the game cheaper and you'd make a little more profit.|||I went to GameStop and tried to sell Call of Duty 3 for Xbox 360, which is the console widely used today, and they would only pay $3.25! You'll be lucky if they buy your PS2 and Wii games for about $2 each to get you're 10 dollars.|||I've heard they don't buy games for very much. They'll even only pay $1-$2 sometimes. For a PS2, they usually pay $20-$30 (for the system). I would suggest selling at a garage sell, on ebay, or on craig's list. You'll get a lot more money that way!|||In general they really do not pay much for PS2 games anymore, especially not sports and liscensed titles. I bet for the PS2 games you MIGHT get $5 but that may be guessing high end. Your best bet is to trade them at a site like Cheapassgamer.com or gametz.com to other gamers.|||Have a look at my question, forget the UK only!

Shattered Dimensions if you want more action. I enjoyed this game more because it was a lot more polished. The overall presentation, including graphics and sound, were better than previous Spiderman games. I liked being able to play as 4 different Spiderman's with separate stories and graphic styles.

If you really want to play windows games on your macbook it isn't immediately possible, but if you load a windows OS (eg Vista) onto your macbook along with Mac OSX, then you can run windows on your mac, and play any games that work on windows on your mac,with windows running. Good Luck|||Well actually most Macs nowadys can run two OS's (Windows and Mac) some come with both and some dont, but im pretty sure any new Mac you buy u can install Windows XP or Vista if there not already on it so u can play your games|||You can once you run Boot Camp and install a copy of Windows XP. I wouldn't install Vista because some older games do not work well. Basically Boot Camp allows you to run either Windows XP or Mac OS on the same laptop. Given that you're using a laptop, you probably will not be able to run the latest, more graphically intense games, but GTA and Spiderman 3 should not be a problem.





Using Boot Camp and Windows will allow you to play Windows games and not just games available for Macs.

i like free roaming games better than fixed missions|||Both are awesome games if you're a fan but I would say go with Web of Shadows if you prefer free roaming, its built on the same engine as Prototype and works in a very similar way. Shattered Dimensions is a very good game but it is fixed levels and very linear.

I have a ps2 and really want this game. However, I want to know how the ps2 version compares to the new gen versions. Do sanbox games like spiderman 2 and grand theft auto load the whole map or just the part you're in?

You see, Spiderman 2 is a really good game. You can go anywhere around Manhattan and like 2 or 3 other islands. You can move really quickly and it doesn't lag at all. It has a fairly long loading screen though before you start playing.





As you move around the city, you see building in the distance but THEY AREN'T THAT DETAILED. when you get quite close to the buildings they get more detailed but when you are touching them the details aren't even that good.





And when you walk past people on the street, their faces have terrible graphics. I mean, they have no detail at all and are really square-shaped.





Although Spiderman 2 is definitely the best movie game for the Gamecube without a doubt.|||A lot of sandbox games borrow from God of War. It loads in the background so that when you get to new areas, it's already loaded so there's no delay.|||Just the part your in, they keep a constant loading though so you rarely notice it

When you have to take out the four rival gangs for the underboss mission, all you have to do is go to each doctor in each part of town and take them out silently. then head over to your gangs mansion and save it, quit and then come back on to the game. don't leave the mansion for a while and do "health cheat" "5000" cheat after this do "health cheat" one more time it should make a louder noise like metal. go out side you will still see the four blue blips but drive to them and all you have to do is plant a bomb. easy! it's wicked!

Tattaglias compound


When you think you are ready for the challenge, take on a compound. The Tattaglias in northeast Brooklyn might be the weakest family in New York, but that does not mean they are going to let you walk right in. Bring some bombs along and blow up the support pillars in the basements. You may start a mob war, but if you are successful you will have a new safe house with a group of guards.

Become Don of New York to unlock Infinite ammo and 1 million dollars to do so take over every business and rackets then complete taking out the contracts on the other families top guys





The Don Is Dead mission


Break the windows in the barber shop before start the mission. This will allow for easy shooting once the Don is shot. The recommended gun for this and any other close range shooting mission is the magnum.





Unlimited Money and Respect


After completing the first mission, save your game and quit before answering the phone downstairs. Reload your game and you will recieve the $500 and 500 respect you got from that quest again. You can resave and reload to get these rewards as many times as you would like.

Pause game play, then press Circle, Square, Circle, Square(2), L3.





Extorting businesses


When you are having trouble extorting business owners, try destroying some of their property and/or hold a gun to their face. For example, when you are trying to take over Good Eats in Brooklyn. you can hold the gun to the man's face then reholster the gun and extort. He will refuse. Simply draw your gun again, lock on, and hold it. Keep doing this until he caves in. Do not forget to reholster your gun to avoid accidentally shooting him. In another example, when you are trying to extort money from the hotel owner in Brooklyn, hold a gun to him twice, break the downstairs cupboard, then finally blow his safe before you beat him into submission. Always buy available rackets first. Take a trip around to either buy another racket or go around the block. Do not attack until you visit again, and instead of enemy soldiers you will find all your soldiers. By doing this you do not have to fight a bunch of enemies and get your vendetta up.





Recommended weapons


Do not waste money on safe houses. You can make it fine with just the ones you get in the story. Instead, save money for clothing and weapons. All the best weapons cost a lot but are well worth it. The Saturday Night Special is a better revolver and it will cost $75,000. The Assassin's Pistol is better gun and costs about $200,000. The Python a better magnum will cost $250,000. The Dillinger is a machine gun that costs $450,000. Finally, the Street Sweeper, which works like a shotgun, sells for $500,000 and will kill most people in one shot.





Easier driving


While driving down the street, honk your horn constantly by clicking the Left Analog-stick. This will send other cars to the side of the road.





Go to a police station and bribe the police chief. You can then steal the police car without any trouble. Click the Left Analog-stick to turn on the siren. Cars will now move out of your way.





Marlon Brando's last appearance


Play the mission when you go to the hospital to protect the Don. After you kill the first assassin and Michael Corleone tells you to go to the basement, go foward and make a left. You should see a door with Michael Corleone talking to Vito Corleone while he is in the hospital bed. Listen to the conversation carefully. This is the real Marlo Brando talking, recorded while he was hospitalized.





Robbing banks


The type of bank will determine the easiest way it can be robbed. The type with the three guards and one room is by far the easiest, and should be robbed as often as possible. Use the following trick to rob it without being chased or even getting past two shields. First, bribe the cop outside. Then, go into the bank and choke the first guard by the door. Next, go into the vault area and start strangling the guard on the left. The other guard will come and attack you, but he will not shoot. He will only hit you with his billy club. Remember to strangle the man on the left first because he tends to start shooting with his shotgun if you attack the other guard. If you are robbing the big bank, start the same way by bribing the cop outside. Then, go in and immediately strangle the guards in the main room. Hurry down to the vault and strangle the two guards there. Open the door and blow the vault. Ready your Tommy gun for action. Three or four guards will attack you as you flee the vault. Get close to them as you are shooting them and you will perform an instant execution. After you shoot them, run up the stairs and move to the right. Then, take an immediate right to leave the building where the car is always parked. Get in the car quickly because you will be shot at when outside. Take off and you should not be chased after you hit the streets. After any bank robbery you must go to your hangout to get the money. The best bank to rob is the midtown bank, close to the apartment that the Corleone's give you after you save Michael. You wll get $50,000 there.





Easy Mob Wars:


After you have finished 100% of the missions, you will need to destroy the other four family compounds. This is difficult because if you die, you need to start over. After you destroy one, save your game at the nearest safehouse. This will help you because if you die, you can load your game and go back to after you destroyed the rival familie's compound





Taking over compounds


To take over a compound, equip your self with ammunition for all your guns, or you can use one powerful gun to kill other gangsters and take their gun. You must have cover at any time possible. Note: When behind the bushes to the left of the entrance they can shoot you through the bushes. Once inside, do the same thing and always have cover. Then, run downstairs. In the back house there are two men. One is behind a box and there is another behind a pilaer. After those two are dead, set the time bomb (not dynamite). If needed, stay in the basement and die, then drive back and repeat on the other house. When the time to destroy the rival family compounds, the easiest way is to blow up one building at a time. Make sure you have all weapons with full ammnition.





Assaulting warehouses


Before going on a warehouse assault have these items: pistol (full ammo), Tommy gun(full ammo), shotgun (full ammo), Magnum (full ammo), Molotovs (6), and about $25,000. When going to a warehouse, try to blow up the roadblocks. After that, stand there and shoot at oncoming gangsters with your pistol (headshots are essential). Then, go in to the warehouse area. Stand behind boxes and shoot your enigmas with the pistol or Magnum (again with headshots). When you actually enter the warehouse, have either your shotgun or Tommy gun ready. Most enmeshes will have shotguns and Tommy guns. When you kill them, search for the owner. He will have puppeteer hands. Buy him out. Do not hit or injure him or you will not be able to buy him out and will have to use pressure. On the way you will have almost certainly started a mob war. Do not bother looking for bombing business. Instead, check the map for the nearest FBI agent and bribe him. You may lose $3,000, but it is less risky. You will now have a warehouse and won a mob war at the same time.

Barricades


Use the following trick when you go to a hub, warehouse, or compound with people and cars blocking your way. Get a truck and run into the cars and people until it catches on fire. Then, finish off the other people that are still alive.





Easy money


Visit the sewer system. The entrance is directly south of the westernmost Tattaglia warehouse on the Hell's Kitchen Loop. Prepare for a battle. The crate containing the money you are after is guarded by a group of heavily armed bell-boys.

Hidden combo


As the Green Goblin, when you have to knock down the Vulture to defeat him, there is a combo on the very top of the pointed building. In order to get it. Point the glider directly at the peak and press Accelerate + Up between fighting the Vulture. Fly in circles and shoot at him to knock him down, making sure you do not lower your altitude.





Swing enemies around


Use your Web Yank, then rotate the D-pad as fast as possible in a big area. You can keep swinging until the enemy hits another opponent or the wall.





Web slam


Press Triangle while zip-lining.





Very high view


When you get the Green Goblin suit, go on your glider and fly up as high as possible in the first level. Keep jumping and going on the glider immediately afterwards for a very high view of the level.





Cloud message


At the start of the game when you have to take pictures of yourself, get on any tall building and look around in the sky, in the direction of the Activision building. The world "CHAOS" will be written in the clouds.





Lesbian ending


Enable the "Play as Mary Jane" code. Complete the game and watch the ending sequence. Mary Jane will kiss another Mary Jane.





Fight Crusher Hogan


Go to specials menu, choose "Training", then enter basic combat. After a couple of swarms of enemies, Crusher Hogan will appear. To get up to him easily, enable the "Unlimited webbing" code and keep using the Web Dome or more powerful Web Dome attacks. Crusher Hogan has a life meter and takes a couple of minutes to defeat.





Defeating Scorpion


Activate the Web Gloves. This will inflict more damage on Scorpion and kill him faster. Use a series of punch attacks. Note: The gloves will disappear after awhile and will need to be re-activated.





Fight Green Goblin on glider


When fighting the Green Goblin, if timed correctly, you can land on the glider. You can fight while on the glider, which is easier than swinging and fighting in mid air.

To play as the green goblin you have to go through 4 simple steps:





1. Start a new game and select hero mode as the difficulty.





2. Next go to the specials menu and select cheats the n enter the level select cheat (which if you don't know is IMIARMAS)





3. And finally go to the level warp option and choose conclusion.





4. now go to the secret store and go to the very last option which is play as green gobli and select it.





Now you are able to play as the green goblin complete with weapons and glider.
