What are the best spiderman games?

I have spiderman 2 for gamecube I got it in 2004 and still have it somewhere... I haven't played it in a while... Anyway, I remember it being awesome with web slinging and wall running and stuff but recently I played Spiderman 3 on the ps2 and, compared to spiderman 2, it SUCKS.





The graphics of how spiderman looks has been greatly advanced, but the web slinging sucks and the controls suck and the wall running also sucks. Also, when you look at buildings in the background they are not nearly as detailed as in spiderman 2 and you can't see as far.





There's also the game based on the first spiderman film which is not as good as spiderman 3 and I used to have it but got rid of it.





I have a Wii, and old GameCube I never use (I play the games on the Wii) a PC, and an Xbox 360.





I know ultimate spiderman for the xbox can be played on the 360 and it works fine, and I know it's also on the gamecube and probably PC but xbox 360 controller works a lot better.





There's also spiderman web of shadows which is probably better on xbox 360 than on Wii but you tell me...|||Well I mean, you pretty muched nailed it. I remember I played Spider-Man 2 from beginning to end on my old PS2. It was awesome. And then I remember renting Spider-Man 3, and like you said...sucked! And Ultimate spider-man was pretty sweet on PS2, never finished it though. And I haven't played Web of Shadows yet but I'm pretty sure its cool, but from all the reviews I've read about it, they say the only problem is that its very repetitive. Idk for sure, but they just haven't made anything to top Spider-Man 2. So there's nothing besides those mentioned games out. for the gamecube and ps2 and xbox, spider man 2 was the best





Web of shadows looks like a good game for this generation of consoles, but then again theres marvel ultimate alliance

XBOX 360,PS3,WII = if u like games with spiderman and more heros, marvel ultimate alliance 1 and 2|||Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of great spiderman games. Spider-man 2 and Ultimate Spiderman are the only good ones for the recent era. Pick it up for Xbox/Gamecube/PS2.





There is Spider-man: Friend or Foe, but that is mostly meant for a younger audience and is a highly repetitive beat 'em up game.





Web of Shadows, while interesting in premise, fails to deliver. It only has a 68 on metacritic. http://www.metacritic.com/games/platform鈥?/a>





If you'd be willing to take a trip to yester-year. I highly recommend Spider-man: Maximum Carnage for the Genesis or Super Nintendo.
