What is the difference between "The Amazing Spiderman" and "Ultimate Spiderman?"?

What are the differences between the 2 universes? I'm asking because of the new Spiderman game, Shattered Dimensions. I don't know that much about the comics, but for some reason, I'm seeing the "Amazing" and "Ultimate" universes as really similar. What are the differences?|||there is no "amazing" universe lol





there's earth 616 (the official universe) and earth 1610 (the ultimate universe)
